Together with Chevron, we’re helping advance Utah’s future energy workforce with scholarships for high school seniors and first-year college students who are pursuing STEM courses at universities, colleges and trade schools in Utah.
With the generous support of Chevron, we have awarded more than $135,000 in scholarships since 2016.

General Information
Multiple $3,000 ScholarshipsAwarded to students pursuing a STEM degree at a Utah-based trade/tech school or college /university.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be either in the 12th grade and enrolled in any public or private high school in Utah, or a first-year student pursuing a STEM undergraduate degree or STEM-related technical certification at a Utah institute of higher learning.
- Students must certify their intent to pursue a STEM-related degree at a public or private institution of higher learning located in the state of Utah; or a license, certificate, or skill training that supports the energy industry at a school that is part of the Utah System of Higher Education.
- Past scholarship winners are ineligible to apply for the program.
- Those pursuing a second-degree or master's program are ineligible to apply for the program.
- International students must have a valid F-1 visa to apply.
- Responses must be the applicant's own writing. Applications using AI generated text will be ineligible for the program.
